This small place owned by Kore Sahib typically visited by me and other teammates once in a month or so for taste change.

Basic infra, clean, two level seating arrangement, serving decent value for money lunch.

A La Karte as well as Thali options in fish, veg, chicken and mutton.

Two of us went this Friday noon. Opted for Surmai thali with Bhakhri and Kolambi thali with Chapati; also asked for Pomfret fry.

Service was little slow.

Surmai thali had
One generous slice of king fish batter coated and deep fried.
Small piece of king fish in one little bowl of mildly spicy orange coconut base thin gravy.
Dry preparation of sun-dried prawns in onion and coconut.
Little bowl of Sol kadhi.
Rice flour Bhakri.
Decent portion of steamed rice.
Onion and lemon slices.
Thali was low on salt with average taste.

Pomfret was small, batter coated and deep fried costed as good as thali. Decent.

Kolambi thali had Kolambi in brown base gravy.

Asked for one additional glass of Solkadhi. Best of the lot and fresh.

Total was little below Rs 600.

Overall average dining, value for money experience.
