“Just like a new baby with little bit teething troubles yet fantastic food and service with personal touch”

This one at Baner has started without any noise/publicity. Happed to visit at late night during one of the PALKHI days without reservation and found the place jam packed. Probably Abhilash and Mr Chandrakant were also not expecting this kind of rush that evening.

Needed to wait for about 20 minutes and got the table somewhere in the middle of the seating area.

Ambiance- Well; you cannot compare it with the KGP one because here they have relatively less space yet they have managed to maintain the standard. One big hall with AC and mezzanine space converted in to seating area. The woodwork in said seating space provides decent camouflage to make you feel inside properly covered area. Mist cooled environment, with lanterns hanging from the top, low illumination provided by the candles on many closely spaced tables (read congested)… totally it amounts to a good ambiance. Service-
Thought it was crowded the service was quick.

Food-
Decided to go for vegetarian.
Asked for domestic beer, iced tea and fresh lime soda along with pumpkin chips, Stuffed mushrooms to start with.
Batter coated, deep fried Pumpkin chips were topped up with crisp basil; little salted but very nice and tasty @Rs285.
Stuffed button Mushrooms were stuffed with spinach and tofu; very bland but served with salsa. Great combination @Rs285.
Vietnam Topaz Curry was vegetables in mildly spicy yellow orange base gravy @Rs395.
Preferred coriander rice @Rs215 over roti Kanai / Jhalas with it and the combination tasted nice.
Also asked for Phad Thai Veg Noodles (minus peanuts) @Rs340. Stir-fried noodles with colorful vegetables and tofu tested good.

Cost- Rs2586 for 3 adults
