“Coffee and Books…they go well with some but not with everyone!”

Well! I am not fond of either of above but many a times you are forced for such things due to unavoidable reasons. Noon of one of the Sundays… this time the reason was unexpected heavy rains while I was about to move out of “Crossword” “the book store”.

Café Moshe’s is a small outlet on left side of the entry for “Crossword” with a few tables and a counter.

Ambiance-

Small outlet’ish (similar to airports). Quietness… which is broken intermittently by moving customers!

Menu-

All day breakfast, sups, Middle Eastern spread…humus, sandwiches, pies, muffins…plus-plus, coffee, chocolate and tea.

Tried-

Moshe’s Signature Gooey: It was gooey chocolate cake served hot with scoop of vanilla ice cream. Really gooey and tasteful. The combination was good. Worth trying!

I waited for a while and rains did not show any sign of stopping hence moved to coffee.

Coffee with Milk (Cappuccino!): It was average size coffee cup with freshly brewed espresso and steamed milk; topped up with frothy milk foam, served with two biscuits/cookies. Coffee was decent both aroma and taste!

No electricity… no receipt!

Service- Quick!
