Decent taste… Kathiyawadi Thali (may I say…with some Gujrati touch!)

This Ahmedabad visit, I tried exploring local food especially Thalis… tried “Rudu Kathiyawad”. Reached the place by 9:00 PM on a weekday and the occupancy was about 50% plus. This establishment is located on roof top of a busy market.
Roof top place which is covered by a canopy, ground seating arrangement with steel low rise tables. Low illumination level.
Did not explore much and went for Thali.
Tried- Thali
Heavy weight brass utensils. Bucket on the table with chutneys, salt/masala, jaggery, murabba and pickles.
Roasted udad papad.
Three types of bhajiya as starters.
Kadhi, batata rassa, shev tamatar and one other sabji.
In-house loni (butter)… took 2 extra servings
Five types of breads including rotla, thepla, bhakri, fulka were served hot (great!)
Jalebi and halwa
Butter milk (Chach)
Bhajiyas were exceptionally good and served piping hot.
Loved the spices and oil in the food.
Overall, the taste was nice and experience was wonderful.
