Tasty and good food at comfort of home!

Had a discussion with Anshul about trying “Box8” food sometime late September; I agreed to it but for some other time because I was traveling… somehow I forgot about it but remembered recently during a discussion with one of the friends… called for delivery today.

Ambiance-

I have only seen their outlet which is located on Baner Road from outside that too while driving hence… No idea!

Menu-

Menu includes Biryanis, Meals, Wraps, Sandwiches, Mains, Salads and desserts.

Tried-

Murg Dum Biryani: Delivered hot. Biryani appeared cooked using combination method and packed/stacked in a box (in layers) further garnished with fried and caramelized onions. Boneless soft chicken chunks, thin and long grain rice cooked well still loose and not sticky. Spices, aroma, texture and taste of good biryani. It came along with portion of Raita which was thick and creamy though little sour. Nice!

Chicken Tikka Biryani: Delivered hot. It was JARA HATKE! Biryani served with boneless chicken Tikkas. Appeared “integration by parts”. It was little sour for my taste buds. However; good to eat and chicken tikkas were soft. It also came along with Raita.

Chargrilled Chicken Salad: It was a cold preparation. Spicy, boneless, little minty, green color base chicken chunks covered in dressing and topped up with lots of chopped olives, capsicum, tomatoes, cabbage (violet), jalapenos, onions and boiled sweet corn. It had fragrance of a good salad and nearly reminded Tesco prepared salad box. Nice!

Herbed Chicken Salad: It was a cold preparation. Somewhat spicy, boneless, orange color base chicken chunks covered in mayo based dressing and topped up with lots of chopped olives, capsicum, tomatoes, cabbage (violet), jalapenos, onions and boiled sweet corn. Decent!

Moong Dal Halwa: Not up to the mark. Bit dry, with chopped dry fruits, not very sweet.

Guabjamuns: Baby gulabjamuns, soft and tender. Good!
