“Nice snacks with different taste if you have Puneri taste-buds…worth a visit!”

This small outlet on Baner Raod located next to Goli Vada Pav (closer to Baner Gaon) serves Indore style snacks.

Ambiance-
Small shop with 2-3 metallic tables next to road to keep your stuff (served on a paper plate) and eat. A few chairs.
You may find some hygiene issues (if you belong to “pseudo-sophisticated” environment).

Menu-

Kachoris, Poha/Pohe, Samosa, Jalebi, Keshar Lassi, Sabudan Khichdi that’s all. In the morning time; only Poha/Pohe, Kachori and Lassi is available.

Tried-

Dal Kachori- Stuffed with spicy masala made up of dal/lentil having flavor of fennel seeds. Deep fried and puffed. Served with Green and Red chutney. Tasteful!

Aaloo Kachori- Stuffed with spicy masala made up of boiled potatoes having flavor of cumin. Deep fried and puffed. Served with Green and Red chutney. Nice!

Pohe/Poha- Pohe/Poha with unmistakable sweetness with mild flavor of fennel seeds, topped up with chopped onions, Indore Shev and Masaledar Boondi. A few dashes of Indore Masala. A few dashes of lemon juice on request. Loved it!

Kesariya Lassi- Fusion of yogurt Lassi and Rabdi. Thick and Cold. Decent!

Service- Self.

Discussion with Mr Singh about preparations, material and taste as well as Indore Sarafa nightlife (read food frenzy). Exchange of few words with kitchen on winter delicacy “Garadu” and the difference between common Yam and Garadu!
