About Me…

“There is no love sincerer than the love of food.” (George Bernard Shaw)… Love with food started very early in life as I was blessed with grandparents who were having great inclination towards food… I was lucky to spend a lot of time with them. While my maternal grandpa was a great foodie; paternal grandpa possessed excellent culinary skills. Accompanying and spending time with both of them… I learnt usage of mortar-pestle, cooking traditional food in rustic way, blending spices, preparing dips-pickles-chutneys and much more.

Love with food kept on growing over the years and honing of culinary skills is still in progress.

Frequent traveling around Asia-pacific, Europe and Americas brought the opportunity to get exposed to different food cultures, cuisines and brews.

Inspired by… “The secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.” (Mark Twain)…Wherever I went; always preferred experimenting, tasting new things, trying local delicacies, cuisines and brews without bothering about end result (at times it was not very good for health). I have tried popular and not so popular places right from street carts to lavish places.

Well!!! I am an Automobile Engineer by profession but a self-proclaimed Chef, Food Critique and Beer Enthusiast by passion without any formal Gyan… only what I have earned “hands-on”.
